IDF eliminates six terrorists, detains dozens of wanted individuals in 'Operation Five Stones'

Over a two-week period, the Israel Defense Forces carried out a large-scale operation in the northern West Bank, resulting in the deaths of six militants and the arrest of numerous individuals wanted by security forces. The military referred to this campaign as "Operation Five Stones."

The effort involved coordinated action by the IDF's Menashe and Samaria Brigades, alongside the Shin Bet, Border Police, and the Israeli Air Force. In addition to arrests, dozens of suspects were interrogated as part of the operation.

Authorities transferred all detained individuals, along with seized weapons, to the District Police and Shin Bet for further investigation. The operation also uncovered significant assets aimed at financing terrorist activities, including hundreds of thousands of shekels, as well as various weapons such as pistols, rifles, M-16s, knives, and ammunition, particularly in the village of Tammun by the IDF's Maglan Unit. Materials promoting violence and supporting Hamas were also found.

During the operation, the Menashe Brigade destroyed weapons and explosives in Jenin, and two structures used as militant hideouts were demolished. The Israeli Air Force conducted over 30 precision airstrikes to support the ground forces.
