A police officer from Warwickshire has appeared in court, facing charges of theft committed while on duty. PC Robert Davies is accused of taking money, jewellery, and a power drill from a property following a drugs-related raid, according to Birmingham Magistrates' Court.
During the hearing, 48-year-old Davies, who resides in Alcester, chose not to enter a plea regarding the three counts of theft linked to his official duties.
Two of the charges are connected to a November 2023 raid at a Redditch, Worcestershire address, during which cash, jewellery, and a power tool are alleged to have been taken. The third charge claims that in February of this year, Davies stole 180 in cash belonging to The Crown in Alcester.
