'Tracker' Continues to Lead in Early Long-Term Ratings for Fall 2025

The extended viewership period continues to favor broadcast series, with CBS Tracker leading early 35-day, cross-platform ratings for the fall season, mirroring its performance from last year. ABCs High Potential holds a solid second place.

The top rankings show little change compared to the 2024-25 season. Tracker premiered its new season to an average of 17.3 million viewers over five weeks, closely matching last seasons 17.34 million viewers.

CBS, which launched the majority of its lineup during the week of October 13, claims eight of the top ten scripted series in 35-day ratings through October 19. While adjustments are expected as viewers settle into routines, the networks strong roster of scripted shows is evident.

Noteworthy first-season premieres include Boston Blue with 12.7 million viewers and Sheriff Country with 12.1 million viewers, ranking fourth and fifth respectively. Both series have already been renewed for second seasons.

The 35-day measurement highlights how audiences continue to engage with shows long after the initial broadcast. For example, Tracker gains an additional 3.33 million viewers from streaming and delayed viewing between days 8 and 35. High Potential grows by over 4 million viewers, while ABCs Abbott Elementary, initially outside the top 20 after seven days, reaches 8.8 million viewers over 35 days alongside its lead-in Shifting Gears.

After five weeks, eleven shows have surpassed 10 million viewers, compared to just three in the seven-day rankings.
