Erika Kirk's town hall meeting to be broadcast on CBS

Three months after the tragic death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk will discuss her personal journey, experiences of loss, and perspectives on the current political climate in a one-hour town hall event. The session will be moderated by Bari Weiss, CBS News' editor-in-chief.

The special is scheduled to air on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will later be available for streaming on Paramount+ and CBS News 24/7.

The town hall, recorded in front of a live studio audience, will include Erika Kirk answering questions from young evangelicals, well-known religious leaders, and political figures from various viewpoints. The discussion will also address the nation's political divisions and explore paths toward greater understanding.

Erika Kirk serves as the chairman and CEO of Turning Point USA, the organization founded by her late husband, a conservative activist who was fatally shot on Sept. 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Bari Weiss remarked, "The moment Erika Kirk forgave her husband's assailant is unforgettable. I look forward to speaking with her and bringing this dialogue to an audience ready to engage meaningfully."

The event will be filmed in New York before a carefully invited audience.
