Grammy Celebration of Latin Music Featuring Gloria Estefan, Angela Aguilar, Andrea Bocelli & More: Complete Lineup

A special two-hour event, A Grammy Celebration of Latin Music, spotlighting the enduring influence of Latin music across the United States, is scheduled to broadcast on Sunday, December 28 from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.

The program will be co-hosted by NCIS actor and producer Wilmer Valderrama alongside singer, songwriter, actress, and producer Roselyn Snchez. This special joins a small lineup of genre-focused Grammy events, following productions such as A Grammy Salute to Gospel Music (2006), A Grammy Salute to the Sounds of Change (2021), and A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop (2023).

The lineup includes performances from a mix of Latin and pop artists, including ngela Aguilar, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bubl, Gloria Estefan, Luis Fonsi, Maren Morris, Ayme Nuviola, Laura Pausini, Prince Royce, and Jon Secada. The special will also highlight three collaborative performances: Carn Len with Nuno Bettencourt, Robin Thicke with Orianthi, and The Warning with Billy Idol and Steve Stevens.

A special performance will come from the cast of Broadways Buena Vista Social Club, currently nominated for a Grammy for Best Musical Show Album and recipient of 10 Tony nominations this year, winning four.

Interviews in the special include Daddy Yankee, Emilio Estefan, John Leguizamo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Luis Miranda, Rita Moreno, Carlos Santana, and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. Notably, Luis Miranda, father of Lin-Manuel Miranda, is a Puerto Rican political consultant and philanthropist. Rita Moreno, 93, was the first Latin performer to achieve an EGOT, and Santanas band matched Michael Jacksons record for the largest single-night Grammy sweep.

The event was taped on October 19 at the FiftyFive Creative Hub TV studio complex in Doral, Florida. Executive producers are former MTV executive Jos Tilln and Harvey Mason Jr., with production by POPGarage and GRAMMY Studios.

The special will air just over a month before CBS hosts its final Grammy Awards telecast prior to the ceremony moving to Disney in 2027. Bad Bunny is among the leading contenders for Album of the Year, along with nominations for Record and Song of the Year. The Maras, performing in both English and Spanish, are nominated for Best New Artist.

CBS originally aired the Latin Grammys from 2000-2004, after which the broadcast moved to Univision. Historically, most Grammy-branded specials honor individual artists, including The Beach Boys, Cyndi Lauper, The Bee Gees, The Beatles, Whitney Houston, Earth, Wind & Fire, Elton John, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, and Prince.

Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream the special live via their local CBS affiliate feed, with on-demand availability. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will have access to on-demand streaming the day after the broadcast.
